I love simple, inexpensive and beautiful decor. My husband is still a student in school and we are raising a family on a student’s stipend… which is hard to do! But I still want my family to be able to create beautiful memories and feel the spirit of Christmas!
Parenting is tough. Teaching kids how to handle their different emotions is super hard! The other day Lanae had a meltdown and I felt completely overwhelmed.
This Thanksgiving Turkey craft is so fun! We made it last year and Lanae played with it for a couple weeks then we used it as decoration for another week or two for Thanksgiving.

A week later I’m finally getting around to putting a post together about Lanae’s matching Simple & Sweet DIY Girl’s Necklace. It was so simple and so easy. I think it has some beautiful character. And the best thing of all… Lanae loves her new necklace.
