PEANUT BUTTER BANANA ICE CREAM

July 9, 2015 by Carisa

2 Ingredient Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream from Messes to Memories

Banana Ice Cream is all the rage on pinterest these days and it’s super easy to make.

Believe me, I was skeptical at first. 1. How could bananas turn into ice cream? And 2. After you turn it into ice cream, does it even taste good?

The answer to question 1. It’s a crazy miracle. Question 2…. It tastes way better than you might think.

Homemade Banana Ice Cream from Messes to Memories

The first night we tried banana ice cream was for a special date night with my husband right after we started our no sugar health challenge. We made banana ice cream and then added in different toppings to create 4 different flavors. It was pretty amazing!

An easy, delicious no sugar dessert. This Peanut Butter Banana Ice Cream is an amazing homemade ice cream recipe!
Ingredients
  • 2 Frozen Bananas
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
Instructions
  1. Slice your ripe bananas and place them in the freezer for several hours. I just do it the night before!
  2. Place bananas and peanut butter in the blender. Blend until smooth. You will need to push the bananas down a few times and stir it up to get it to blend up really well. Don't over blend, you want a nice creamy consistency.
  3. I place it back in the freezer for a couple minutes to let it set up a little more before scooping it into bowls.
  4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips!
