GINGER MOLASSES COOKIES

A warm and delicious cookie that tastes like Christmas!
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • melted white chocolate for dipping
Instructions
  1. Beat together butter and sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs and molasses until completely combined.
  2. Mix flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt. Now add the dry ingredients to your butter and sugar mixture. Mix until combined.
  3. Roll the dough into balls. Roll each cookie ball in sugar until covered. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes. You will start to see little cracks on top.
  4. Remove from oven and let cool then transfer to wire racks. Dip in or spread melted white chocolate over half of the cookie.
