Not only is it a fun lullaby that we sing our babies, but it is a song that makes me smile and lifts my mood.
After Lanae was born, I had to go back to teaching. It was so hard for me to leave my baby! My mother-in-law sent me a book where you can record your voice so that your kids can hear you sing or read when you are away. It was You Are My Sunshine. Both Lanae and Owen love listening to this book!
Now that I’m home, I still sing it to my kids all the time!
