It’s hard to find the perfect gift for Christmas. I honestly feel like a lot can be said for homemade gifts! They require more thought, effort and are much more meaningful!
When a friend of mine asked me if I would make her 3 darling girls Ruby Lou dolls for Christmas, I was so excited… I had never made anything for someone else before, so I was kind of nervous that my skills weren’t quite up to the task. But I decided to go for it!
Part of the beauty of a handmade doll is that its not perfect! Each doll that I made is unique. I intended for them to be unique!! And they really turned out beautifully. I definitely am excited to see what her girls think! I hope they love them as much as my daughter.
After making these dolls for my friend, I started designing a little baby doll to go with these cute Ruby Lou dolls. I’m so excited to try that out and make a baby doll and a mama Ruby Lou for Lanae for Christmas! She will be thrilled!
